My philosophy is 'creativity'- new ideas, exploration, following interests, 'respect'- for themselves, me, others, the environment, and 'empathy'- understanding emotions in others, emotional regulation. I teach children to be confident, kind and ambitious. I have worked with children since I was 15 years old in a variety of roles, and with a range of ages. I have been a babysitter, live-in nanny, live-out nanny, after school care programme coordinator, and am currently a preschool teacher for the last 4 years. I am in my first year studying towards becoming qualified as an early childhood teacher. That's all the things that formally make me a great nanny for your family! But to know me more personally.... I love being in the outdoors, which means trips to the beach, walks in the forest, swimming, and opportunities to learn about the natural world. I am a creative person, so would love to set up activities to use different materials to decorate your house with their creations. I encourage children to use their imagination to be inventive and curious. I am a calm, patient person, and I believe that makes children feel safe and listened too. I also believe it is important to have a great friendship with you so we can collaborate.
