I worked as an After School Program Aid for a Primary School. Specifically with 4-6-year-olds. I provided a safe, caring, and positive learning environment. I also have been a Nanny consistently for 2 separate families in California. I drop-offed and picked up at school, sports practices, and extracurricular activities. I helped with homework, getting ready for sports practices, and making snacks and meals for the girls and their 3 dogs. I hold my NZ Red Cross- Comprehensive First Aid Course of the NZ Resuscitation Council CPR requirements and NZQA Unit Standards 6402, 6401, 6400. Working with children has been incredibly fulfilling watching them grow and interact in the world. I was raised in California and am a dual citizen of both the USA and New Zealand. I moved here to attend the University of Waikato and am studying my second year to become a Pediatric ED nurse with my Bachelor of Nursing degree. I have excellent medical and emergency knowledge from my Hands-on patient care experience in a Dementia Unit and the AMU’s Internal Medicine Ward. I also have highly personal experience working with Type 1 Diabetic children and children with Anaphylactic food allergies.
