I have experience around children as my grandmother has her very own home based childcare centre for the babies in my family. My role as a previous school prefect gave me opportunities to take part in the care and teachings of younger students. I have experience in the teachings of hip hop styled dance with primary school students. Living with two of my older sisters gave me the opportunity to help take care of their children, one of which had 3 children and the other had 1. All children are under the age of 5. With a warrant and the experience as a Māori Warden, I have a comprehensive understanding of the full lifecycle for the care and aiding of others. I also have experience around children with behavioral problems as my younger cousins whom my family had fostered into our own had excessive problems with their behaviors.
