I have a lot of experience with children, such as babysitting and looking after children within my extended family and family friends. I grew up with a younger sister and parents who often work late, so I would always make dinner and help around the house, so I am very comfortable with such tasks. In 2020 I nannied a young boy with special needs before the covid19 lockdown on weekends. I also worked as a nanny/ parent help for 3 young boys alongside the mother, helping with tasks such as cooking dinner, washing and cleaning as well as caring for the children. Last year for half of the year I nannied a young girl and was responsible for picking her up from kindergarten, making dinner, tidying the house, doing washing and entertaining her until the parents return from work. For the other half of the year, I nannied for 3 children. My responsibilities included picking up the children from school, dropping them to after-school activities, tidying the house, cooking dinner, supervising homework and general care of the children.
