I have 5 years’ experience working with children in various roles that have been centred-around developing skills. These skills include water safety, learning how to swim, improving hand-eye co-ordination and fine-motor skills, learning how to work and communicate in a team, and developing creative problem solving skills. I was a swimming instructor for 5 years. I was an assistant Playball coach for 2 years. I have worked at a Primary school for 1 year as a swimming coach and an assistant PE teacher. I also have support work experience that required assisting people with tasks such as meal prep, personal cares, and implementing personal plans. I have a full driver’s license and a first aid /CPR certificate. I have a Post-graduate Degree in Science and plan to do a Graduate Diploma in Teaching in the near future. I also have a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certificate. I am caring, patient, and good at multitasking. I am accountable and able to stay calm in unexpected situations. I believe that it is important to allow children to use their imaginations and plan activities that allow for fun and developmental growth. I enjoy watching children expand their knowledge and implement new skills that inspire confidence.
