| Hi there, I am Ali. I have worked with children for many years in private homes with ages up until 13 years. I have also worked in many Early Childhood Centres over the past 3 years as I am currently studying towards my Bachelor’s in Teaching (Early Childhood Education). For the past year I have worked Full Time in a well known Early Childhood centre, specifically with 35 2 year olds. Previous to that I worked as a nanny for a family with 2 children for just under a year. I was responsible for pick ups, after school activities, house work, homework, cooking dinner and anything else they required. I enjoy looking after children and contributing to their growth and development. I am happy to provide help in any way I can. I currently have my First Aid Certificate, Full Drivers license and own transport. I also have my level 3 & 4 in Early Childhood Education. | I am a current student at the Otago University. I am in my third year of a Bachelor's degree majoring in Psychology. I am hoping to further my training to become a Clinical Psychologist. I am an the eldest of three children and am extremely caring and empathetic. I absolutely love children and enjoy going the extra mile to provide fun, engaging activities to do with children that I'm caring for. I adapt easily to childrens needs which I believe is extremely important because each child's needs and wants differ and vary. During the summer I was a full-time nanny to two children (5 and 7) where I picked them up from school and spent the afternoon doing fun activities, getting outdoors, and preparing them for the evening and bed. I prepared their meals and also aided with household chores. I am also currently working as a (casual) Mental Health Assistant where I spend time with the patients and tend to their needs. I worked in an after school care for about a year where we prepared meals, did crafts, played games and entertained about 100 children for 3 hours a day 5 days a week.

| My name is Heidi and I am third-year student completing a LLB/BA at the University of Otago, my passions in law including human rights, healthcare and animal rights, and my BA major and minors include Philosophy, Psychology, and Gender Studies. I love working with children and would love to be considered for the job. I have had a lot of child care experience, having worked at an Before/After School Care and Holiday Program as a Supervisor, so am capable and confident looking after children of all primary ages. In this role I have had to make sure all children are accounted for and properly signed in/out (which can range from 50-70ish children), and lead/direct other staff through the day and keep them on task and in their assigned areas/activities. I have had to ensure all children are supervised and accounted for, engage with and support families, tailor care to specific needs to children, help and support children with behavioural and social difficulties, organise and run activities, and ensure children feel safe and comfortable through the day/afternoon. I have also had plenty experience with older kids from 11+ through various casual babysitting jobs through the years and am able to relate well to children of any age group.

| Currently I work at Abbotsford School as an After-school Care teacher and work as support staff in the learning disabilities area with a young boy. Before moving to Dunedin my summer job has always been a full time lifeguard at Hot Water Beach as well as part time at New World all year round. Throughout my high-school years I coached junior Netball teams, Little Nippers and organised many sporting events with my role of Sports Leader. Things I like to do while I am not at work or Uni is Cross-fit, Running, Swimming and taking a Frisbee down to the park for a run around!!! I hold my level 1 & 2 First Aid Certificate and PHEC (Pre Hospital Emergency Care). I will ensure your children are safe, and have an enjoyable time on my watch.

| Hey, my name is Claudia. I have been babysitting children in my town since I turned 16. I have had experience with babies, younger children and older and disabilities. I have had experience running holiday programmes and looking after large groups of children and running activities. I am the oldest of 6 children and enjoy being around kids. I am energetic and creative, I love helping make up games and stories to entertain kids as well as crafty projects when they’re a bit older.
