| I'm Alicia, 23 years old and from Scotland. Having graduated from Glasgow University this past June, I have spent the last 6 months working as a nanny for two girls, 7 and 9. This work involves picking the girls up from school, making them dinner and helping with homework and music practice until the parents return from work. I was a part-time nanny alongside my studies. I spent 6 months caring for a two year old boy which involved making meals, entertaining him with fun activities, putting him down for naps and changing nappies. I also helped out a family who had two children, a boy, twelve, and a girl, nine, often staying over at their house while the parents were away for work and was responsible for the morning school run. I'm a lover of the outdoors and adventure, so throughout university would always be planning my next trip. I took a gap year before heading to university where I solo travelled across South America. I also spent the summer of 2023 in Honduras working as a marine research assistant. I love sports, whether that's going to the gym, or a run, or playing hockey. I was a member of my University's hockey and surf teams, a skill which I'm hoping to improve over here!

I can also travel anywhere because it doesn’t require me to be on campus tell next fall. I have lots of experience with children of all age, most currently with little ones from 3 months- 18 months. I was also a medical professional in the US so I have extensive knowledge in first aid. Since being here I have worked for a few families who teach at the university in my current city, so I have current references as well. I’ve worked with little ones on and off for 10+ years.
