We are a family of six - Mum, Dad and four daughters ages 5-11 years old. We live on a lifestyle property in Dairy Flat and the girls are all home schooled - needless to say, life is full! We are looking for a Nanny/Home Helper to help make life more manageable. The role will suit someone who naturally & easily builds relationships with kids, is confident, adaptable, organised, a good communicator and will take initiative around the house to help lighten the load for Mum and Dad! This role will include: - Hanging out with the kids, playing/supervising - Assisting with some educational activities - Overseeing kids doing their chores independently - Meal planning, prep and cooking - Shopping, running errands - Laundry - Driving kids to/from activities - Light cleaning We’d love to incorporate in our homeschool teaching/learning any skills and talents you may have to contribute - eg sports, cooking, gardening, art. The majority of the time you’ll be at home while Mum is there too, but from time to time there will be the requirement to be with the kids at home as the sole caregiver. Dad also works from home for some of the week, so you’ll be joining what is a big, fun and dynamic whirlwind of a family! We’re looking for someone for a minimum of 20 hours a week, likely between 10-3pm Mon, Tues, Thurs and Friday; with additional hours available on Wednesday for someone also happy to clean. This is our first time having a nanny/home support, so it will likely take some time and patience to get a feel for what will work best for us all. We are keen to work collaboratively to figure it out!
