We are looking for a special human to take care of our two boys after school for 3 days a week. Is this you? Aged 3 and 5, our boys are fun, curious, well-behaved and loving. They communicate well, have no allergies and are good eaters. Previously, our boys have enjoyed Porse-style care so they are used to being looked after. They have loved this but now that they are older we like the idea of having them home after school. Mum and Dad run businesses so we also need this person to help out with a few household tasks. Hours: 2.15pm - 6.00pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. During school holidays, you’ll need to commit to 2 or 3 full days a week (ideally the same days). Duties include: Pick up from kindergarten and school Looking after the boys at our home e.g. playing ball on the lawn, reading books, craft. We don’t expect there to be scheduled activities at this stage. Assistance with dinner preparation. Assistance with basic household tasks e.g. cleaning, folding laundry, helping the kids tidy up before dinner, cleaning out lunchboxes. You’ll need a full drivers licence with a clean driving record. Our vehicle will be available for use to transport the kids. If you would prefer to use your own car, that’s OK too and we’ll ensure you receive an allowance for this. Some experience with childcare would be valuable but we are most interested to hear from you if you are caring, reliable and energetic i.e. you like the idea of getting outside and kicking a ball around! Start date: Tuesday 19 October (first week of Term 4). Stopping for Christmas holidays and kicking off again when school starts the following year. We look forward to hearing from you.
