We are a friendly young family who are looking for a nanny to take care of our child after school on a long term basis. You will be looking after a very happy 2.5 year old who is energetic (of course), sweet, funny and very resourceful. We’re looking for someone Mon-Thursday 2pm-6pm to pick up our child from kindy and stay with them until we get home from work. The job includes: Kindy pick-up at 2pm (drive or walk home) Making/offering a light snack Hanging out with them at home Setting up activities/play in the house and/or outside in the garden Heating up prepared dinner or making simple dinner for our child Tidying up the kitchen and popping the dishwasher on/clearing the bench after dinner Possibility of picking up more hours over school holiday. Applicants must have: Previous experience nannying/caring for young children A full license Must be a caring, positive and outgoing person who enjoys looking after little kids and is patient, creative and fun! Australian stay at home mum, kiwi working dad require; - a mature (preferably over 27 years old) carer. - They need to have previous experience with a similar aged baby - you need to know how to bottle feed, Change nappies, settle to sleep - you need to be confident in the above or it can be stressful - you need to be easy going and friendly - you need to have more than 3 years experience - having kids of your own is a big plus - you need to be punctual & flexible - I need a semi-perm carer with specific days who isn't sick v often - communication is key so u need to have a phone/messaging of some sort - car is required and full licence - close to Hataitai would be good but not a priority so long as you can get to us on time. - there won't be much house work if at all. It is purely concentrated on playing, nursing, feeding him while i have appointments or even getting a shower or going to the gym. I am flexible with days and hours but want to eventually stick to one or two specific days and times per week if you are suitable. The odd night would be great too but more random. Commitment and communication are key. Happy to pay up to $20 an hour for suitable applicant. Internet included and possibly some meals - need to discuss. I am easy going and a happy pleasant person to work with.
