I myself a Pet owner of a small dog.
When a pet owner I do believe you have all the experience you can give to other pets.
My daily routine for my dog is walking feeding and a hair brush as she thinks it's a massage she gets !!!
I wouldn't be able do full day care as need to be there for my own dog but could be of help for couple of hours a day if required.
