Passionate about working with people and I have working experience
|
Hi, my name is Amanda! I have always been passionate about working with people and that was one of my main reasons to pick my formal training in Psychomotor Therapy. Psychomotricity refers to the essential capacities for human development, which relate to an individual’s emotional awareness, cognitive and motor skills. I can identify and intervene on contributing factors for the development or accentuation of limitations that interfere in the performance of psychomotor activities, in other words, daily activities. I have been lucky to work with elderly in different contexts such as: Active 24/7 participation in Emergency Covid-19 Isolation Project to provide socio-emotional support and ensure dynamization of activities to Nursing Home residents; Co-organization of intergenerational projects with severe
handicap patients (16 years old and over) and nursing home residents. I believe with my experience, therapeutic knowledge and my resiliency, creativity and strong communication and empathy skills, I can help you and be someone that you can feel safe with and count on.
