About Sean
26 years old
I am a recent graduate with a First-class Honours B.A. in English Literature and Philosophy from Trinity College Dublin. At Trinity, I specialised in modernist and contemporary poetry. I also edited the campus literary magazine, Icarus, and was chair of the Trinity philosophy society, the Metaphysical society. With both Icarus and the Metaphysical society, I organised and led writing workshops to assist other undergraduate students in their creative and academic writing. Outside of Trinity, I have participated in several initiatives with Dublin art galleries, was an intern at PEN America (an arts/writing and human rights organisation), and run a Dublin open-mic, Cave Writings.
I am passionate about creative and critical writing alike and am eager to teach students approaches to literature, creative writing, and the essay form. With several years of successful tutoring and grinds experience, I am comfortable preparing students for Junior Cert exams, Leaving Cert exams, and any other assignments and essays they may be struggling with.
