I am a fourth year primary education student in the Froebel Primary Education Department, Maynooth University. I have received a first in all of my teaching practices (9 in total) in my three years at university. I am a fluent English and Irish speaker. It is a requirement of my course that we get a first (70% and above) in all of the primary school core subjects - Irish, English, Maths and SESE (history, science and geography) and so I am fully competent to teach in all of these areas. I currently give English language grinds to a primary school student (senior infants) and wish to begin working with more children. I am willing to do half hour and hour slots as well as working individually with children or working with small groups. I charge €15 for a half hour session and €25 for an hour, group prices would be lower per child. I believe in children learning through doing and use very active methodologies in my tutoring that ensures the child retains the information in a natural and enjoyable way.
