My name is Kerri and I am 24 years old, originally from Limerick. I am an Applied Languages graduate from UL, where I studied German, Spanish and Linguistics, as well as TESOL. While I did not study Irish in college, I kept up the language outside of academics as I would be fluent, having attended an all Irish primary school. Back in 2020, I spent two months in the north of Spain as part of my work placement for college, where I taught English to a range of students of many different ages and level. Due to covid, I returned to Ireland but I continued teaching online for the remaining 4 months. It was also around this time I began tutoring. I began to offer homework help to primary and secondary school students, in whatever subjects they needed. I ,then, started giving junior/leaving cert Spanish grinds, as well as Irish. I did these both online and in person and this has continued to the present day. I can provide any references if needed. Furthermore, I just moved back to Ireland from Barcelona where I spent a year and half working as an English teacher with children of many different ages.
