I recently did a special needs with intellectual disabilities course a few months ago , I did work experience in a local school with three boys who have autism and two of the boys had cf as well , I really like working with them and I was really rewarding to work with the boys. I also have a cousin who has autism as well and I learnt a lot by looking after him and I knew then that’s what I wanting to do after leaving school, so i did a childcare course a few years ago and I really wanted to do a special needs course for a while and one came up last year and I applied for it and got in to it , it was nine months and we had to do 20 weeks of work experience, I did mine in a secondary school In Milford working with a student anxiety and few other students to , I really enjoyed working with them , and it was really rewarding to working with them and I loved every minute of it , because it’s something I really wanted to do for a long time .
