My name is Lisa Dolan and I am 23 years old. I am originally from Limerick but I have lived in Tralee for the past five years. From a young age I have worked and volunteered in many disability settings, especially Autism. I have a passion for working with children and young adults with Autism. I have been exposed to the work they do for the past six years and have personally sought out any work or volunteering opportunities in a disability setting. I have worked in both a classroom setting and a sports setting. I have worked on and off with children with Autism for the past 8 years. I have subbed as an SNA in a junior school for children with Autism, have worked for two years as an SNA for young adults with severe profound disabilities, I have volunteered for a surf camp for children with autism called SURF2HEAL in Banna for six years. I have recently completed an honours degree in Health and Leisure with Adapted Physical Activity where I worked with children, young adults and adults with Autism, down syndrome and all types of physical disabilities like cerebral Palsy. I am very caring person, very understanding and really enthusiastic in helping families in any way that I can.
