My name's Abigail, I'm 21 years old and grew up in Cork. I've been raised alongside animals since birth, sharing a household with any living thing from wild country cats, to indoor/outdoor dogs, hamsters, newts, rabbits and at one point even a gecko named Götte! I've been caring for other people's puppies, adolescent and elderly dogs part-time since I was 16, and after taking a break from this line of work over the last 2 years I'm ready to open my home and heart to loving people's friendly companions again. I once brought my 2 fluffy Bichon Frise up the Galtee Mountains for a bit of fresh air, so you could definitely say I'm an active human being who loves giving animals a chance to explore the smells around us (even if it means carrying one of them down in my backpack afterwards). I've lived in both Vienna and Dublin exploring creative arts, but nothing is quite like the real capital so I'm back home now hoping to find part/full time work that will help me begin my EMT training. My timetable is very flexible for the next few months, I can work on a week by week basis if necessary, and I'm open to befriending any types of pets in all different shapes and sizes.
