I am a qualified nurse who previously worked as a healthcare assistant for up to 3 years. Both roles involves caring for people not only in regards to their physical needs but also with personal needs. Such needs includes being a companion, talking to individuals and engaging with them on a person centred level. I have no problem with providing hygeine needs (washing, dressing, pad changing, cleaning etc) for individuals that I care for.
