I have some limited experience of helping with the care of my own elderly family members, with limited mobility. I enjoy the conversation myself, I like the companionship aspect of this work, I understand how the elderly may feel lonely and isolated as a single parent, I can identify with these feelings, when my children were very young, this was the most difficult aspect of being home alone.
