I have experience caring for the elderly. My paternal grandfather has gout so he’s been using a walking cane since his late 60s. He’s usually fine walking by himself but he would need assistance when walking down the stairs which I’ve sometimes helped him. My maternal grandfather got a stroke and is now wheelchair-bound. I've assisted him to use the bathroom, shower, eat etc. I also massage him regularly to ensure good blood circulation. He also has Alzheimer so I was very patient with him at all times.
