I have been working in the health industry, as a nurse, since 2019. I started as a surgical nurse, working closely with surgeons during mainly heart and liver transplants. I've done that from 2019 up until 2023, when I decided to give my life a 180° shift, moving to Ireland. I got here in May 2023, and since then, I have worked for 6 months in a nursing home, as a HCA, where I had to look after residents with all sorts of medical prognostics, from mobility issues, communication impediments and dementia. During that time, I had training offered by the company that helped me to build the required expertise to deal with a different reality than that that I was used to, working in a surgical theater. Shortly after my departure from that nursing home, I started to work, privately for a lady, looking after her husband. I also work for a home care company during a few days of the week.
