I definitely have a gentle approach to working with children as I believe they need patience and understanding to grow into the wonderful little people they are. Not to blow my own horn but I am a great cook and really enjoy making healthy meals for the families I’m minding (I’m also fond of rainy day baking Lots of tasty treats). The kids I used to nanny loved baking with me however it was definitely eating the finished product that was the highlight. The last parents I worked for said that they really noticed the development in their children from having a nanny that prioritized the children and playing with them and constantly being there to answer questions etc. not buried in other chores, really helped with their progression! I am more than happy to do plenty of housework but with me the children are the first priority.
