I grew up as the eldest child in my family therefore a lot of responsibility was placed on me babysitting just came naturally. From the age of 8 I would look after my toddler sister and 5 and 6 year old brother and sister. I would hear the meal prepared by my mother make sure they were bathed. Also help them with their homework and make sure the house was clean. As I grew older enhanced my qualities as well as nurturing new skills such as organisational, cleaning and cooking skills. It benefited me greatly as I discovered they helped when I began to babysit for other families in my area.
