My name is Stephanie, a French citizen living in Ireland for over 25 years. I originally came to Ireland as an au pair, which I did for a total of 3 years. I started a career in financial services, which I have been in for more than 20 years. Currently in between contracts, I’d love the opportunity to help a family in need of childcare for the summer months. Over the years I've spent a huge amount of time with my nephews since they were born. In their own words, I'm the best auntie ever :) I strike the right balance between fun activities, time outside, art sessions and knuckling down when needed for homework, etc. I'm also happy to speak some French to the kids if this is something the parents are open too. Having a second language opens the mind so much and children’s brain are such sponges. But that's only a by the way. Light housework also possible. My preference is Monday to Friday, at the children’s home for the summer months (starting 1 July and available until end of September). Helping a mother going back to work wo ideal. I understand both the importance of return to work whilst having peace of mind with 1 to 1 care for their baby. If you need summer cover, let me help this year!
