I am a recent graduate of UCC where I studied theatre and maths. I play ultimate frisbee and have coached the Irish women’s U20s team for the past two years. I have worked as a babysitter from the age of fifteen. At that time I was minding up to three children at a time and my main responsibility was putting the kids to bed. I have since lived and worked in both Myanmar and the USA. In Myanmar, I was a full time(9am-5pm) nanny to a four year old Korean boy. My responsibilities included meal prep and English language skills through play. In the USA, I worked for three different families. One of which was a set of 8 year old twins who I cooked for and played with during their summer holidays. The other two families had a 5 month old infant and a 10 month old. Both of these jobs were also 9am-5pm and the occasional evening. I have also worked as a special needs assistant in a primary school. I worked with children with Down syndrome, autism and ADD.
