Hi! I am currently a 22 year old full time student studying assistant occupational therapy with the view of going on to do an Occupational Therapy degree. I currently have experience working with, teaching and caring for children that have intellectual and physical disabilities and/or illnesses. I have worked in Texas, USA at a summer camp specifically for children with disabilities and illnesses teaching music. I have completed training in caring for Type 1 diabetes, epilepsy, burn survivors, asd, children with Down’s syndrome, children who are blind and the deaf. I have worked with children with limited mobility and have training in personal care also thanks to working in Texas Lions Camp. I am calm, competent and bubbly in personality with a strong passion for children. I also have up to date HSELand certification and am in the middle of a QQI in AOT. I therefore am renewing my first aid qualifications at the moment also.
