I have a lot of experience in child minding. When I was 17 I minded 2 children 5 days a week for 2 years while their parents were working. I dropped & collected both of them from school & playschool, cooked dinners, helped them with their homework & still have a great friendship with both the parents & the 2 children... I ran my own playschool for just over 5 years here in my own house & had up to 7 children everyday & I absolutely loved it but when I had my own family I gave it up in order to have the time to watch my own 3 children grow up & enjoy them.. I returned to childminding about 5 years ago & have minded 7 children since then but all of whom now have moved on to national school but I’ve kept in contact with the families & have formed a marvellous friendship with all of them. The I really love working with children doing arts & crafts & teaching them different things to make & do which I find is great for their minds & helps them to express themselves while building trust & a friendship with them.
