My name is Lisa, I am a 23 year old and currently working as the welfare officer in IT Tralee Students' union. For the past six years I have worked with children from the ages of five and up. I graduated in October from IT Tralee with a 2:1 honours degree in Health and Leisure with Adapted Physical Activity. This is a degree in assisting those with disabilities in sports and adapting everyday sports activities for them and increase their accessibility to sports. I have worked as an SNA for young adults for two months ( July Education x2) and have experience in assisting young adult who had severe disabilities and were wheelchair users.
