I am an 18 yearold female student from Newcastle West Limerick. I have a passion for childcare. I have had experience in a crèche and a montessori every Friday for one school year. I have done babysitting for realatives and neighbours. I have also grown up with two younger brothers. I feel confident in my abilities it’s like second nature to me. I have attended first aid classes with the Irish Red Cross in Newcastle West and in school I have done a CPR and general first aid lesson. I know how to aid choking babies and young children also. I have had food safety and manual handling assessments in school and work. I enjoy spending time with children and working with children I find it really interesting so I would be overjoyed to have a chance to work with children again. I volunteered with a local montessori to attend a ‘school tour’ to the local park as a supervisor because with the amount of children they needed another body so the trip could go ahead. I am comfortable with pets in the home, I love animals. I am happy to help with tasks around the house and to prepare meals for children if you would like me to do so.
