From August 2019 until this year, I was living in Madrid, Spain where I provided childcare to two children of a busy, working family aged 8 and 11, Monday to Friday from 6am until 6pm. While working here I performed most of the necessary housework like laundry, cooking, cleaning and shopping. Every morning and afternoon I transported the girls to and from school and other events. I implemented speaking English into our every day lives, along with our evening English lessons each day, which resulted in a 50% increase in both their reading comprehension and verbal use of the English language. Along with skills like safety, first aid and managing the responsibility of minors in my care, I improved my use of the Spanish language. I can now have an intricate conversation and communicate speaking Spanish which could help with schoolwork in future positions. My childcare and learning comes from a fun approach, music and play,
