I have been caring for children, including my neighbors' kids and cousins, since I was 16. As a qualified sailing instructor, I have spent the past five summers teaching children aged 7-16 how to sail in summer camps, weekend activities, and private lessons. My experience includes working at Crookhaven Harbour Sailing Club and Sail Newport, a sailing school in Rhode Island, USA. In addition to sailing, I coached under-10 girls' hockey for a year in Ashton Hockey Club. These experiences have equipped me to work with children from various backgrounds, keeping them engaged and entertained with a wide variety of activities. I am Garda vetted and have completed safeguarding and first aid training as part of my instructor qualifications, ensuring children's safety under my care. I also have a full drivers license and access to a car so I am able to do collections/ drop offs if necessary.
