My name is Aoife. I have experience working one-on-one with children ages 0-13 as a tutor/babysitter. I am aware of the expected developmental milestones and the correct practices that guide children to climbing the ladder. I worked for some time in a pre-school, working on lesson plans and facilitating activities appropriate for their age and skill level. I have experience working in two facilities that offered an afterschool club service. My main duties were preparing food, facilitating activities, general cleanup and in my opinion, most importantly, helping with homework. I have great literacy, numeracy and ICT skills that allow me to help the children complete their homework with ease. I have worked for a number of families as a tutor. I completed a QQI Level 5 in Special Needs Assisting and I have worked one-on-one and as part of a larger group with children with a range of additional needs. Every child is different, so it's very important to adapt to the needs of each child. I have completed numerous child safeguarding certificates and qualifications. I am a First Aid Responder.
