I am 19 years old, turning 20 in late September. I am a rower and I am in my second year studying Biological and Biomedical Science at Trinity College Dublin. My family is from a little ski town in Vermont. My older brother lives in London (he graduated from University of Edinburgh last year) and we are very close. My mum is from Manchester, England and my parents are planning on moving back there this year. I love to travel and be outdoors. I am planning on being in Dublin this summer as well. I started babysitting kids when I was around 11 years old, starting with a three month old boy. I continued with the now eight year old boy until I reached my second year of high school because I moved cities. In DC, I worked with elementary school children tutoring them on the weekends. I taught Math and English Grammar. I taught them how to tell time and their letters/alphabet. In the summers I have nannied three kids from one family. The first summer I worked with them the youngest was 2, the middle child was 5 and the eldest was 7 years old. This involved spending time with them from 8 am until 5 pm when their parents were finished with work. I worked with them until I moved to Dublin.
