Hi, my name is Amanda! I live in Swords and I am looking for an opportunity to work with children. I have always been passionate about children and the field of Education and Child Development. This passion has been intensified by my formal training in Psychomotricity and working experience as a Psychomotor Therapist, Day Care Assistant and Babysitter. I have worked with preschoolers all the way to young teens with or without learning difficulties and impaired psychomotor development. My work method consists on combining playing with cognitive, emotional and motor stimulation. I do truly believe that it is through playing that the child learns the necessary skills for life. So within these beIiefs I privilege the contact with nature, story telling, learning playful games and the transmission of values and competencies, like responsibility, respect to others, curiosity, creativity, autonomy and self esteem.To the children I promise a lot of fun and also to be someone that they can feel safe with and can count on. To the parents I promise to be organised, responsible, communicative and always have an eye on your child.
