| I have a full QQI Level 5 award in Early Childhood Education and Care and I am in the process of completing my QQI Level 6. I have been Garda vetted. I am qualified in cardiac first responder and paediatric first aid. I have child protection training. I have also been certified in manual handling and fire safety. I completed a course on equality, diversity and inclusion. I have experience working in pre-schools, after school care, crèche and babysitting. I have experience working one-to-one with children with additional needs and I have completed module one in Lamh (communication mechanism similar to sign language). I have also worked abroad as part of the Erasmus Plus Programme. I believe in children being stimulated in an age appropriate environment. I also believe that children should be allowed to be independent and should be given a balance of indoor and outdoor play. I am qualified in Creative Arts for Early Childhood so I promote creativity and imagination during play time. I also believe that the parent/guardian is the main educator for their child so the parent/guardian's wishes will be upheld at all times. I mind children in my own home from Monday to Friday. | My name is Grace. I am a recently qualified Occupational Therapist who is currently working in a paediatric setting with children who have additional needs. As part of my qualification, I have received full training in CPR and first aid for both adults and children. I also have a full Irish drivers license. I have always enjoyed working with children and have previous babysitting experience. My experience included light household work and putting the children to bed. As I have a variety of skills, I am happy to do more if required. I am available to work Friday evenings, and full days on Saturdays and Sundays.

| I have looked after 1 child from 6:30 in the morning, Monday to Friday then my mother took over while I was in school until I got home from school , he was in primary school. I looking after him for 6 years. This included dressing, feeding, getting ready for school and homework after school also a snack before his mam came home.

| I have babysat for a family with one daughter aged 4 for a full summer and every Saturday during the year. I have babysat cousins aged from newborn to aged 11 over the past 4 years on a regular basis. I have also babysat for a family with twins aged 4 and a baby aged 2 on Saturdays. I also volunteer at a summer camp for children with Down Syndrome each summer and have undertaken caring roles at the camp. I am second eldest of 4 siblings and therefore have had responsibility of cooking meals regularly. I also can take on light housework roles .
