My studies as an Elementary Teacher have always been accompanied by working with children. On the one hand, I have work as a private teacher in order to apply all the theory learnt at university. On the one hand, I have experience teaching elementary-level students in several school subjects, such as languages, mathematics or science to students from 5 to 12 years old. On the other hand, I teach Catalan and Spanish language to international students from 5 to 8 years old.
Furthermore, my several years of summer school teaching and experience as a Supervisor included undertaking lots of pastoral care duties. During this period, I had the opportunity to enforce leadership skills because I was in charge of accompanying children at all times. Teaching English to pre-school students from many international backgrounds has helped me to recognize individual students' needs, empathize, support them on their learning journey and encourage resilience and kindness. Also, during my academic and professional development I participated in several volunteering programs because I consider it crucial as a citizen.
