| Hello there! I'm Sinead, I'm 34 years old. I hold a degree in Outdoor Education, which covers topics like developmental psychology, and after school childcare. When it comes to taking care of children, patience, safety and authenticness are at the core of my approach. I believe in creating a nurturing and safe environment where children can flourish. To ensure their well-being, I have completed various first aid courses and obtained a Tusla child protection certificate. Safety is always my top priority. Over the past 15 years, I've had the pleasure of working with children from diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities. During my time in Canada, I've had the opportunity to design a program called "Mini Explorers" for children aged 3 to 5. Additionally, I've taught swimming to kids aged 1 to 15 and organized outdoor education activities like kayaking and archery in different parts of the world. I have been looking after one 4yo girl this year in France and I taught her English. I could do the same with French! We would do activities, bake, dance.. I am now a second year uni student, studying English Literature and Civilization in Reims, France. In September I’ll be taking an Erasmus program in Limerick, Ireland. I took care of two girls for 5 years. I can handle tense situations. I try to distract the children with games, instead of leaving them in front of the screens as much as possible. I am available to work part-time in the afternoon and at night (Monday to Friday) and full-time on Saturday and Sunday.
