I work as a learning mentor / tefl teacher. I am an artist so my classes are creative and fun.

I spent many years in London working in Schools and Residential Units for children / young adults. I worked alongside many students assisting in their learning and development. I then went on to teaching English as a foreign language in Asia and Greece.
I then went on to running Art / Yoga activity workshops around Devon and Cornwall and continue to do so. I now work part time online teaching English to students in Beijing.
I love teaching and working with children/young adult and have worked in a variety of setting as well as at families homes and children Centres.
My responsibilities were;
Circle time – dates and weather for the day / basic phonetics
Activity play leader and preparation
Singing / teeth cleaning / lunches / snacks preparation
Reports / Observations
Toileting / nappy changing
Aiding in the development and safety of the children
Opening up / closing – preparation / cleaning / safely checks
Greeting parents / carers – daily feedback
Small group and individual activities
Yoga / music and balancing sessions
Outdoor / indoor play safety observations / child engagement
Creating a good role model in behaviour / manors
Working as part of a team
