Maths Tutors in York

| I am a graduate from the University of York, holding a first class with honours degree in mathematics. I also have achieved a first class honours Masters degree (MSc) in Atmosphere, Oceans and Climate from the University of Reading. I now work as an Operational Meteorologist at the Met Office. Previously, I have tutored a variety of students - primary, secondary (GCSE and A-Level), home-schooled students and degree level students. I also volunteer at a local Guides/Brownies unit, so I am very comfortable with working with younger children as well. I know how to adapt the way I am teaching someone when they aren't understanding something. Hence, when I am tutoring, I like to keep the atmosphere very friendly and easy-going so that whoever I am tutoring feels comfortable enough to give everything the best shot they can.

| I am currently in year 13 studying A-level maths and am looking to tutor maths to secondary students. I received a grade 8/A* in GCSE maths and am passionate about helping other students with examination preparation, homework and just generally wanting to improve their understanding of maths. I have previously tutored maths and so have experience in the combinations of methods required to aid learning.
