| I currently work as a teaching assistant in a school for young people with special educational needs and disabilities. I have many years of supporting young people in scouting and other youth settings. I have a degree in child and family health and wellbeing, i specialise in health and social care and child development. I also have an AS level in music performance.

| I recently achieved a 2:1 in my Mathematics Degree at the University of Keele, as part of my degree I achieved high grades in both of the Teaching based modules that Keele had to offer. Before my degree I achieved an A* in A-Level Maths at Runshaw College. I have completed Safeguarding training with the Stoke-on-Trent Safeguarding Children Board. I also have work experience teaching GCSE re-sit students at both Stoke-on-Trent College and St. Bedes High School in Blackburn, the former role had the potential to be testing as the students were often completely uninterested in learning the topics initially, but it ended up being an enlightening experience in which I not only found that I enjoy working with students 1-on-1, but I also discovered a range of techniques for maintaining even the most difficult student's attention. I also often help my peers with any work they have been struggling with, ranging from low-level GCSE to early degree level Maths. I also have tutoring experience through other, similar websites.
