When I first arrived in England at eight, unable to speak English, I found myself years behind my peers academically. It was tough, but it made me resourceful. I seized every opportunity to learn, staying behind to talk to teachers and watching YouTube videos to catch up. Through persistence, I gradually matched and then surpassed my classmates.
With two years of tutoring experience at Kumon and a year at Holyport College School, I know how to help students who are falling behind. My approach, shaped by my own struggles, focuses on tailored methods and fostering a growth mindset, enabling students to catch up and excel.
I specialise in mathematics, having achieved gold in multiple olympiads and ranked 100th nationally, and I hold an offer from Cambridge. Additionally, I am proficient in all STEM subjects up to GCSE. My goal is to help students develop a deep understanding and appreciation for these subjects, preparing them for future success.
