Maths Tutors in Shepperton

| I offer 1to1 math's tutoring for all secondary schools students (years 7-13), specialising in GCSEs and students with additional learning needs. I studied up to masters level at University of Cambridge, and have worked as an engineer, and find helping students with their math's understanding incredibly enjoyable and rewarding. I use a student centered approach that encourages and trains students to take charge of their learning. This is an important skill as they continue their education and later in their life. I have been working in teaching for almost 15 years, and have experience working with students with a wide variety of needs. I have helped many students achieve the grades they deserved for their GCSEs, but more importantly for me, they have enjoyed their learning, and been motivated to work on their maths outside of our sessions. So much of a student's grade comes from their belief in their own abilities and their hard work outside of the classroom, and that is where I try to make the greatest difference. I have a enhanced DBS check, am first aid trained, offer online and in person tutoring, as well as the option to come to you.
