I hold an MPhys in Theoretical Physics, have conducted research at the Large Hadron Collider, hold an MSc in Economics and have worked as an economist in various not-for-profit and think tank roles (including central government, Shelter, the New Economics Foundation and the Open Data Institute). I`m currently a freelance policy researcher and work part-time teaching GCSE maths and Functional Skills maths, as well as being a tutor.
This means that alongside training in exam questions and revision technique, I`m able to inspire students with applied examples from a range of disciplines. I`m also happy to provide advice and support if you`re thinking of applying for further study in technical subjects.
My tutoring experience includes supporting A-Level students and GCSE students both in home and school settings, including as a teaching assistant in a special needs maths class.
