Maths Tutors in Hove

| I am willing to tutor any age up until A-level. For my GCSE's I got eight 9's and two 8's, which are results that I am extremely proud of and that demonstrate my understanding of the syllabus and exam preparation. I recently sat my Maths A-level alongside completing a diploma at the English National Ballet School.

| I am an A level student predicted 3 A's, next year I am going to Michigan state university for Chemical Physics so any maths or science related content I will be able to help with, I haven't officially been a tutor as a job but I do tutor some of my friends. I have a car so I am able to travel to you and of course do remote tutoring during the current times, I am a very patient person and a calming environment is key, you should never feel worried about not understanding something even if its been explain few times. I used to really struggle with science. Looking back on that time there were so many techniques I wasn't using that would've been so helpful, all I needed was to know how to revise and have someone new explain the concept to me.

My names Tom and I’m a recent graduate from the University of Bath finishing last year with a 2.1 (69%) in Natural Sciences (major in chemistry, minor in biochemistry) and am currently looking to tutor full time whilst applying for a masters in sustainable chemistry for 2021. I've been tutoring now for 4 years across a range of ages from GCSE to undergraduate level and am fully prepared to teach towards all exam boards across KS3, GCSE and A level. When we first meet we'll determine together what your key goals are for the tutoring sessions and I'll set out a timetabled plan of how many sessions we'll need and what aims we'll cover in each session. All lessons will be prepared for thoroughly beforehand and will entail an intro which sets out the lessons objectives, questions and teaching designed to reach those objectives and a summary at the end to ensure there's no misunderstandings. Whilst the lessons will be concise and hard-working I like to keep a relatively relaxed atmosphere where all students will feel comfortable to speak their minds and freely ask any questions they want to.

| I have just completed my penultimate year at the University of Bristol studying Mechanical Engineering. I am proficient in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (I achieved A*AA at A-Level respectively). I am looking to tutor primary and secondary school students at GCSE level or below (SATs or Common Entrance examinations).
