English Literature and Language KS1, 2, 3, 4 and A Level

My name is Abbey and I am 31 years old. I have a high Upper Second Class degree in English Literature and Language from the University of Leeds.
I have experience tutoring children in all aspects of English developing, including phonics, comprehension, reading and writing. I can also tutor mathematics for children in primary school.
I can support high school SATs students with poetry, prose, and plays, as well as understanding Shakespeare, how to write for a purpose (to argue, influence etc), figurative language, terminology, text exploration and analysis.
I can support GCSE and A Level students with critical reading and comprehension, summary and synthesis, literary evaluation, writing for impact and rhetorical devices as well as presenting ideas. This is across poetry (including romantic), works from the 19th, 20th and 21st century, Shakespeare, essays, novels, reviews and articles.
