| I am a friendly, happy and dedicated person who looks to enhance children’s learning by working with the foundations they already have. I work to ensure children and young people and comfortable and secure with me and their environment in order to truly focus and be confident in their learning. I have worked with children from all over the world with an organisation called Target English International, wherein my role was to enhance what the children had learned in their lessons through fun activities and games balanced with quiet time for independent study. My goal is to bring out the best in children and young people with care, fun and dedication.

| I am an university student studying to become an English teacher (for those whose first language is not English), I have roughly a 1 year experience as an English teacher assistant (functional skills level at college). I am currently taking my degree, as well as TEFL qualifications. I am a native speaker of 3 languages as well, including English (Spanish & Portuguese are the other two).

I particularly enjoy preparing students for exams such as the 11+, GCSE and A-level, as well as university entrance, and I am equally at home providing challenging debate to stretch the most gifted and talented pupils, or inspiring enthusiasm in students who want to improve their grades. One of the best things about private tuition is seeing my pupils develop their confidence, whether in violin performance or tackling the big ideas in works of literature. I am available for short-term help with revision, holiday booster classes or regular weekly lessons.

| I am an experienced and highly-skilled College and University (English, German and Law) teacher, with seven (7) years teaching experience in one-on-one tutoring at home and classroom teaching. Prior to joining the higher education sector, I also gained valuable teaching experience for about three years, in teaching elementary school English language and history. | Hi I’m a mature PHD candidate at University of Hull, and I’m making myself available for private tuition. English grammar / literature and Music - especially in theory and composition, although I do offer instrumental lessons. As an experienced educator I can help with homework, exam preparation or general learning techniques. I have a Research Masters Degree from Keele University. My undergraduate degree was from Guildhall School of Music & Drama and I have PGT certificates in teaching from the University of Hull as part of my PhD.
