A-Level Tutors Splott

| I am a Medical student and BSc psychology graduate at Cardiff University. I was born in France and grew up mainly in the U.K. I am bilingual in French and English and so able to teach both languages as well as carry out conversational classes. With my background in science through medicine and psychology I would be glad to tutor students in psychology (degree level) maths (GCSE) and what has always been one of my favourite subject, Biology (A level+). I have my own car so would be able to displace myself easily. I have had a full DBS check and have been trained in first response by the Welsh Ambulance Service.

| I am an undergraduate international relations and politics student at Cardiff university. I have 2 years experience in teaching in Diyafah international school, UAE. I have successfully helped to teach year 2 age pupils maths and GCSE history. I am very patient and take a lot of time to try and find a way to cater information to each child individually. I enjoy spending time with children. I achieved all A and A* grades at GCSE level and A*AA in history politics and economics for A level. My strengths are History, mathematics and politics. The greatest challenge I have faced was tutoring my own brother over lockdown. He has special needs so he struggles tk learn, but this made it more rewards with each aspect of his curriculum he finally understood.

I’m a good teacher, having spent my sixth form time helping to teach GCSE students in my school, as well as tutoring my brother and his friends through their exams.

I spent time during my GCSEs and A-Levels helping tutor Computer Science to younger years; while I adored it, I feel my English Literature A-Level is a more beneficial qualification to help pupils of all ages. | I am a doctor and teacher of English available for online tutoring. I am from the UK and have over ten years´ experience as a teacher, editor and freelance journalist. I successfully passed my English PhD viva in July 2019. Prior to that I transferred to my PhD from a Masters in English in 2016, the same year my PhD creative element was longlisted for the Bridport Prize for a debut novel. I achieved a first class honours degree in creative and professional writing in 2007. I tutor all abilities, from non-speakers to those looking to improve their English and writing skills. I have worked with primary, secondary and university age students and have access to resources for iPGCE, IB, ISEE, A-Level, IELTS and many more.
