Special Needs Care in Tonypandy

| been in the care industry for 15 years. I have experience in mental health learning disabilities complex care including brain and spinal injuries caring for people ranging from 12 years to 102 years old. I have worked in many settings such as supported living mental health hospitals (secure units) nursing and residential homes and rehabilitation centres. I have also got related NVQ2 and NVQ3 qualifications. I enjoy my job very much it gives me great passion in learning new skills and meeting new people I love travelling and watching the rugby ! I do also enjoy a game of bingo and socialising.

| I have a family member with Pitt Hopkins Syndrome and I wanted to find a job related to helping adults or children with developmental delays and mobility challenges. My GCSE grades maths B, english C, science B, Health and social B, I did three years of college with Health and Social, I passed level 2 which was a two year course, passed further studies for health and social. I’m currently doing level 3 fast track Health and Social this allows me to efficiently get access into a health and social job. I’ve looked at different syndromes and all different side affects from growing, facial features, DNA, chromosomes e.c. I’ve looked at the safety of doing day to day tasks, I’ve also studied the 6’Cs in care. I’m a friendly and social person, I love helping people out while giving them the respect and equality, I like helping people out with day to day tasks.
