| Carer for family member • Supporting family member with every day tasks following a stroke and cardiac arrest, arranged engaging activities to ensure quality of life was sustained, cherished each day, developing skills, and enriching both own life and theirs. • Undertaking general home maintenance and cleanliness tasks to ensure family member remained comfortable within home surroundings and can recover in a hygienic and secure environment. • Providing nutritious meals and promoting healthy living to assist with recovery and extend life expectancy, offered support with any feeding needs if required. • Administering first aid when required and assisting with any medication, ensuring all drugs are given in the approved quantities and during the correct time periods. • Accompanied family member to medical appointments, communicated effectively with clinical teams to understand and digest complex terminology and health related advice.

| I am a mum of four who has worked within schools for 8 years. I worked as a childminder first for 7 years. I have a pediatric first aid certificate, am CRB checked and hold a degree in early years. I am also a qualified forestry school leader and love the outdoors. I work three days a week at Torbay hospital as a community Maternity support worker.
